Niyyah shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking. Your tasks and progress stay on your device. An account is optional.
Who we are
Niyyah is developed by Leimo AI Technologies FZ-LLC, FDRK0118, Compass Building, Al Shohada Road, Al Hamra Industrial Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (licence 47028817). We are responsible for the personal data described here.
Data that stays on your device
The following is stored only on your phone and is not sent to us:
- blocked apps, tasks, schedules and settings
- dhikr counts, reading progress and statistics
- your PIN, if you set one, kept in the device's secure storage
- your approximate location and selected city
Optional account
You can use Niyyah without an account. If you sign in with Google or Apple, Firebase Authentication, operated by Google, processes your user ID, email address, display name and profile photo URL to identify your account. We use this data only for sign-in. Your tasks and progress are not uploaded to an account.
Location
Prayer times need your city. With your permission, Niyyah reads your approximate location once and matches it to a city on the device. The location is not sent to us or anyone else. You can refuse and choose your city by hand.
Device permissions
Niyyah asks only for what its features need, and processes the results on the device:
- Usage access, to detect when a chosen app opens and to measure time limits
- Display over other apps, to show the lock screen
- Foreground service and start at boot, to keep blocking active
- Notifications, for adhkar and prayer reminders
- Approximate location, for prayer times
- On iOS: Screen Time, to block the apps you choose
Content downloads
Some Quran text and recitation audio is downloaded from api.quran.com and cdn.islamic.network. Like any web request, this shows those services your IP address. We send them no account or personal data.
No ads, no analytics
Niyyah contains no advertising, no advertising identifier, no analytics and no crash-reporting services. We do not sell your data.
Purchases
If paid features are offered, payment is handled by Google Play, the App Store or RuStore. We do not receive your card details.
Storage and transfers
Account data is kept by Firebase until you ask us to delete it, and may be processed outside the UAE on Google's infrastructure. Data on your device stays until you clear it or uninstall the app.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data. To delete your account, write to info@leimo.ai from the email address of the account. We will confirm when it is done. To remove local data, uninstall the app.
Children
Niyyah is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We will update this page and the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app about material changes.
